Nog maar eens een kaartje gemaakt zoals dit maar andere kleuren en andere stempels.

Een witte kaart gesponsd met Adirondack Lights Cloudy Blue en daarna met Adirondack Earthtones Denim 3 maal de afbeelding (Hero Arts CL284 Friend) gestempeld zonder opnieuw te beinken. Nog een mooie tekst van bij Elke, gestempeld met Denim.

Sponged a white card with Adirondack Lights Cloudy Blue and then stamped 3 times without reinking the image (Hero Arts CL284 Friend) with Adirondack Earthtones Denim. Another beautiful sentiment I bought by Elke, stamped with Denim (Free translation: take your dreams into the day)

Met markers de stempel ingekleurd. De rand van de witte kaart bewerkt met dezelfde marker.

Ik wens je ... I wish you ...

Een heel leuke techniek, geleerd in een atelier bij Elke, gebruikt om deze verjaardagskaart voor mijn schoonbroer te maken.
I used this very fun technique, learned in a workshop from Elke, to make a birthdaycard for my brother in law.

Updated this post to explain  how I made this card:

Werkwijze / technique:
* trek op een witte vierkante kaart met de scorpal de diagonale lijnen.
* met 3 soorten mementos inkt deze kaart sponsen, met de lichtste kleur de volledige kaart, dan van buiten naar binnen met de tweede kleur en met de derde kleur bewerk je de randen. De derde kleur heb ik ook gebruikt om de afbeelding te stempelen.

* using a scorpal to draw diagonical lines on a white square
* then use 3 kinds of mementos ink to sponge this card, start with the lightest color and sponge the whole card, then with the second you sponge from the outside to the inside, use the third color to sponge the edges. I also used the third color to stamp the image

Een kaartje voor mijn vriendin als we samen deelnemen aan een "run'.

18 jaar

Een eenvoudige kaart voor een 18e verjaardag. Een A4 vellum in 3 gevouwd, kaart met stempel erop gekleefd en kaart met tekst erin gestoken. De "18" en de tekst is met de computer geprint.

A simple card for a 18th birthday. Folded an A4 vellum paper in 3, stick a card with the stamped image on it and put inside the card with the text.  The "18" and the text inside is printed with the computer.

CASology: New

De uitdaging van / The challenge at CASology is:  "Nieuw" /"New".

Mijn echtgenoot had me gevraagd de uitnodiging te maken voor zijn pensionering. Ik heb dus gekozen voor een eenvouding ontwerp. De beer is gestempeld met bruine inkt op craft papier en een beetje kleur gegeven met potlood. Ik vond deze Wellington beer wel geschikt voor deze gelegenheid. Nieuw: een nieuwe stempel. Nieuw: het begin van zijn pensioen.

My husband had asked me to make the invitations for his retirement. I've choosen for a simple design. The bear is stamped with brown ink on craft paper and I given it a little bit of color with a brown pencil. I found this Wellington bear suitable for this occasion. New: a new stamp. New: the start of his retirement.

Pensioen / Retirement

Het kaartje is afgegeven dus kan ik het nu tonen (het stond al wel in mijn Flickr photostream maar daar kijkt mijn zus niet naar en zeker niet op de laatste dag van het jaar).
Mijn zus is op pensioen en ik vond dit een grappige afbeelding om haar ermee te feliciteren.

I've given her the card so I can show it now (I posted it already on my Flickr photostream but my sister don't look there and certainly not on the last day of the year).
My sister is on pension and I thought this was a funny image to congratulate her.
